Light-Gathering Magnifier

This superbly crafted acrylic 4X magnifier intensifies the light passing through it, making the magnified subject nearly four times brighter without bulbs or batteries. Optical engineering and precision lens grinding provide the power. Glide it over any surface: it features what optical experts call an infinite eyepoint, so you can be any distance from the magnifier, at nearly any angle, and maintain focus and clarity—no need to hunch over when viewing—and several people can view the subject at the same time. The magnifier is 3-1/2" in diameter and comes with a round walnut or oak base.

When the magnifier is in the base, there is room underneath to place small items like coins and stamps. Displaying the magnifier in the walnut or oak base also makes it a very handsome desktop accessory.
